Seriti Green operates with an independent leadership structure and is majority-owned by Seriti Resources, in partnership with VennEnergy, RMB, and Standard Bank. Our collective strength ensures we are able to deliver world-class projects that support South Africa’s energy resilience and contribute to a sustainable future where renewable energy is within everyone’s reach.

Our Flagship Project – Ummbila Emoyeni

Ummbila Emoyeni is a 900MW hybrid renewable energy facility and the largest of its kind in South Africa. Located in Mpumalanga, the country’s coal heartland, it will supply 75% of Seriti’s coal operations and generate enough clean energy to power approximately 500,000 households once fully operational. The project is already contributing to a just energy transition by creating local employment opportunities, supporting skills development, and uplifting surrounding communities.
